Shell

Built from a brand new, unregistered, shell in 2006 by VW Motorsport.  The shell was acid dipped before being comprehensively seam welded.  The installation of an International specification roll cage with multiple pick up points and front triangulation was then completed.  The shell has been designed to be as light as possible with the removal of excess panels and brackets.



Engine & Gearbox

Grant Motorsport built 3.2L VR6 engine with comprehensive cylinder head work, custom cam shafts and fully forged bottom end.  Engine has been dyno’d at 320bhp with a safe rev limit of 7500rpm.



6 speed close ratio gearbox originally found in the RSi Beetle race cars with Riciardo LSD.  Short shift gear lever, uprated cables and billet aluminium gearbox connections.



Handling

4-way adjustable AST dampers with rose jointed top mounts allowing camber and caster changes.  Fully adjustable blade style anti roll bars front and rear (5 seconds to change setting).  Rose jointed throughout including the rear beam which also has toe adjustment.

Huge 6-pot VW Motorsport front brake callipers on the front and standard equipment on the rear with Tilton bias adjustment.



Interior

Extended steering column and Tilton pedal box allow the driver to sit in line with the 'B' Pillar.  Composite door cards front and rear.  Recaro high sided circuit racing seat and lightweight TRS Enduro 6-point harness.  Plumbed in electrically operated fire extinguisher system.



Spares Package

Included in the sale is a reasonable spares package.  I have at least 8 spare wheels with a selection of wet & dry tires.  Spare brake callipers, motorsport hubs, lower arms, brakes & exhaust parts.
